Logo revamp, Website Design and other projects for Vikki Pink Hair and Beauty

I was asked to revamp a logo for Vikki Pink hair and beauty salon who were planing a relaunch. The initial project was to revamp an existing logo to keep elements from the old but make it more modern and then to impliment the logo and new indentity throughout their materials including their website, business cards and advertising. In the revamp of the parlour they were including a leaf wall and wooden floors so wanted this reflected in their designs.

The client wanted to keep elements of the old logo but make newer modern design. As you can see the old logo below was very ornate which when designed was probably on trend but it needed to be updated without losing their original identity too much. After presenting them with a few alternatives they settled on the new design.

The brand colours The primary colour is the Pink and should be used on all documents using the tear and also for main titles.

Imagery should include the wood background and the leaves elements where possible. This can be blended to white where needed. The imagery content should be full colour and contain leave elmets where possible. Frames can be either straight or can be the phote frame.

Elements include the tear that should be used top or bottom or to separate sections. The circle is the attention grabber for important information. The note to be used for other info. Notes and pins to create a message/mood board theme. For full Branding document click here

Vikki Pink needed a multipage website with contact forms and messaging and also with links to their booking page.

Website

The website was a multipage website set up to keep to the above branding styles so fonts and colours and the imagery thoughout the site were in line with the style. The site was designed in Wix so the client could have access to the site and make minor changes themselves with all major changes being done by Harper Design Studio, with Nicky Harper being the Web Designer and Manager.
